Ha...

This is somewhat (I do mean somewhat) humorous. The funny thing is that I've been thinking of offering some free profile picture sized files with my senior package. Lame???

Scott & Charnell

We finally got our respective schedules to click and were able to do the engagement session Sunday. And what a beautiful day:

light like this makes me look a whole lot better than I really am!

I can't wait to shoot their wedding. They're a lot of fun and Cozumel is the destination...I love my job.

Big Folio

The new website is VERY close to going live. I'm very excited. The guys at Big Folio have been great with the setup and everything. I love the template, as well. It's very close to being perfect for my needs: simple, functional, beautiful. I can't wait to go live. Stay tuned!

Charnell, Round 2

I got together with Charnell Bratton for another head shot session yesterday. She was needing some images that her newly acquired talent agent would be able to use. Here are some of my favorites:

Connected...

Finally! Fios was installed today. Insanely fast. I get an upload speed of 2 Mbps.

Nice.

Through Their Eyes...

This is a very cool project that I read about on the blog of one of my favorite photogs, Jessica Claire. Reading of the concept immediately reminded me of an especially beautiful documentary I watched a while back called Born Into Brothels, in which children living in Calcutta's red light learn to use photography as an art and a form of expression.

It's interesting to see the world through someone else's eyes...especially if those eyes live in a world completely unlike your own. On a personal level, photography has changed the way I view my own world through my own eyes. I can only assume that it can do the same for others.

It's nice to see projects like Through Their Eyes. Check out the website; you'll be able to donate to the cause and learn more about it.

Man...

I'm realizing, now that my access to internet has been limited by my move, how much I rely on it. Who knows when my next post will be? The good news is that after my little internet drought is over I'll be using Verizon's Fios. I've been eager to switch to fiber optic for a while and I can't wait.
